"Sunbeam Air"

This piece holds the energy of the first moments of spring. The warmth of the sun just starting to be felt on our skin, coupled with the crisp freshness of the air. It is both refreshing, enlivening, and yet warm and soft. A tantalizing moment holding the experience of two opposing sensations, experiencing them both in the totality of their beauty.

The piece is collaged on to a 8 x 8 in. wooden panel. On the back there ledge placed for easy mounting.

The papers used in this piece come from Thailand, Japan, and Nepal. Many of them are handmade and handscreened. They are sourced from mulberry, cotton, and lokta plants.
